What is the Julie Matsueda Believe Scholarship?
Established in honor of Julie Matsueda’s 30+ years of service as JCYC’s Deputy Director, this scholarship reflects her commitment to helping preschool children overcome challenges and pursue their dreams.
Recipients selected from Chibi Chan Preschool and/or Chibi Chan Too will receive:
- • Opening and seed-funding a 529 college savings account for each recipient.
- • Free annual access to JCYC’s Tomodachi Summer Program, valued at $24,000 over 8 years.
- • Priority access to all of JCYC’s services and opportunities.
- • Annual contributions to their 529 accounts.
